Most people who attend have not made art since childhood. That's actually perfect. It's not about
perfection. It's about the experience of making something with your own hands.
What Does Your First Class Feel Like?
You’ll arrive to a prepared workspace, music playing, and materials already set out for you. There’s no pressure and no critique — I start with a short demo, explain the materials, a few tips, then inspiration and ideas to get you started. My guiding style is light giving support along the way so you can relax into the process. Refreshments for anytime you want to take a break. Conversation happens naturally, and before long you’ll realize you’re creating and simply enjoying yourself.
Most guests leave surprised by what they created — and even more surprised by how calm they felt.

Aluminary Arts was created by artist and designer Lisa Tollner after a 30-year career in visual storytelling and branding. The studio was built around a simple idea: creativity should feel welcoming, not intimidating.
