Find Your Place to Begin
Everyone arrives at art from a different place — curiosity, a desire to relax, or a wish to grow creatively. Aluminary Arts offers three welcoming paths so you can begin comfortably and continue naturally.
No experience necessary • All materials included
Art Is Not About Talent — It’s About Starting
Many adults believe they are “not artistic,” often because they haven’t created since childhood. Our workshops are designed to gently guide you step-by-step so you can enjoy the process without pressure. You don’t need prior training — only curiosity and a willingness to try.
Spark Series
A comfortable first step
A welcoming introduction to creativity for the art-curious. In a relaxed, supportive environment you’ll be guided step-by-step to complete a beautiful piece — no experience, talent, or preparation needed. Simply come as you are and rediscover how enjoyable creating can feel.
Perfect for beginners, friends, and first-time visitors.
If you feel unsure whether an art class is for you, this is the place to begin.

Studio Series
Where confidence begins
An immersive creative experience designed to help you slow down and focus. With gentle guidance, personal attention, and a calm studio atmosphere, you’ll spend meaningful time making something by hand while learning approachable techniques you can continue using at home.
For those who want more time, depth, and a restorative creative escape.
This is the level most students choose after their first experience.

Atelier Circle
A deeper creative experience
A small, guided group for those ready to go beyond a single workshop. The Atelier Circle offers continuity, personal feedback, and a supportive creative community where you develop confidence, artistic voice, and a lasting creative practice — even if you’ve never considered yourself an artist before.
Our most personal and transformative experience.
You don’t need to be advanced — only interested in going further.

Why Aluminary Arts Is Different
Aluminary Arts workshops are not traditional art classes.
They are guided creative experiences designed to make art welcoming, accessible, and meaningful for adults.
Each session is intentionally limited to a small group and personally guided by artist and designer Lisa Tollner. Professional-quality materials are prepared for you, allowing you to relax into the process without pressure or intimidation. Many participants arrive believing they “aren’t creative” — and leave surprised by what they were able to create.
In addition, 20% of all workshop proceeds are donated to local charitable organizations, making every class part of something larger than the artwork itself.
FAQ's
Do I need experience?
Not at all. Most participants begin with no formal art background. The workshops are specifically designed to guide beginners while still engaging returning artists.
What should I bring?
Nothing — all materials are thoughtfully prepared for you.
What if I’m not artistic?
That belief is exactly why many people come. The workshops focus on process and exploration, not perfection.
