What This Workshop Is
Celebrate the beauty of nature through watercolor painting inspired by colorful birds and florals. In this relaxed and welcoming workshop, you'll explore color, texture, and composition while creating a vibrant artwork full of personality and charm. Whether you're returning to painting or picking up a brush for the first time, you'll be guided along the way.
You'll learn how to paint birds using the soft and ethereal techniques unique to watercolor.
We'll move through the full creative process: review of watercolors and basic techniques, how to sketch a bird, planning your layout and composition, layering light, medium and dark colors, adding contrast and texture, and refining details.
By the end of the workshop, you’ll complete a finished painting, ready to hang in your home. If you love birds, this class is for you!
